The Gas Station's manager is Bob (Isiah Whitlock, Jr.), a nice guy who dreams of one day buying the Gold Star. In Pilot he is in critical condition due to being hit by a bottle during the "Gold Star Lottery" that Matt and Nicky planned. Matt is later in need of a vote from Bob since he did not pay for his ticket individually, so Bob brakes the tie and allows Matt, some of the money.

The service station manager and unofficial patriarch at Gold Star for 25 years. An honest man and a great boss, Bob may just be the nicest guy in the world, always ready with a smile and a kind word. Content with his life, Bob starts each morning in his small back office with a crossword puzzle, and goes home each night to his longtime girlfriend who he is hoping to make his wife. Life is good; but when one of his own betrays him, his unfailing belief in second chances is put to the test.
